Delivery and Shipping

All our furniture pieces are made to order, ensuring each item is crafted with care and precision. Our standard manufacturing timeline is approximately 20–25 working days (Monday to Friday), though this may vary depending on the number of pieces ordered. Once your order is ready, the mode of transport is selected based on your location to ensure safe and efficient delivery. Delivery timelines post-dispatch typically range between 3–7 working days for metro cities and 7–12 working days for non-metro or remote locations. Please note that these timeframes are approximate and may vary based on logistics partner availability and route conditions. All shipping and delivery charges are to be borne by the customer. Once dispatched, we will share tracking details so you can monitor your shipment in real time. We work with reliable logistics partners to ensure your furniture reaches you securely and in good condition.

Returns and Refunds Policy

To support our vision and to value our relationship we have a 7 days of product return/replacement policy.

Returns/Replacement policy applies in these scenarios –

Damage or dead on arrival product received,
Manufacturing product defect,
Wrong product received.
The 7 days time frame is considered from the date the product was delivered to your doorstep, as per the confirmation received from our logistics or courier partners.

All our wooden products are handcrafted, one piece at a time, therefore making each piece unique. Due to which, a slight variation in colour, tone, shape or size may occur between different products. This shouldn’t be considered as a defect and shall not be eligible for return or replacement.

If your purchase meets our return criteria as stated above, please email us at designfive11@gmail.com within 7 days of product delivery with the following information :-

Your Delivery address
Specify the reason for the return in the subject line with the necessary photos.

We will arrange pick up of products that you wish to return from your location however locations where we do not reverse pick-up arrangements, we may request you to self-ship the product to us. In case you self ship the product back to us, we will additionally bear the cost of the courier as well.

Customized orders cannot be returned.

Once your return claim is Accepted, Refunds will be processed within 48 Hours. Depending on the mode of payment you used, Banks and Payment Gateways usually take between 7-10 working days to credit the amount to your account.

Composition and care

General Care Instructions:

DOs -

Dust Regularly: Use a dry, soft microfiber cloth to remove dust.
Clean Spills Immediately: Blot (do not rub) with a clean, dry cloth.
Use Coasters & Mats: Protect surfaces from hot dishes, water rings, and spills.
Maintain Humidity: Keep indoor humidity between 40–60% to prevent warping or cracking.
Lift, Don’t Drag: When moving furniture, always lift to avoid stress on joints.

DON’Ts -

Avoid Harsh Chemicals: No bleach, ammonia, or all-purpose cleaners.
Don’t Place in Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure can cause fading or drying.
Don’t Place Near Heat Sources: Avoid radiators, heaters, or AC vents.
Don’t Cover Tightly: Wood needs to breathe. Avoid airtight plastic covers.

Daily & Regular Care:

DOs

Dust Often: Use a dry microfiber or soft cotton cloth.
Wipe Spills Quickly: Even though PU resists water, prolonged contact can dull the surface.
Use Mild Cleaners: A damp cloth with diluted dish soap works well for cleaning.
Dry Immediately: After cleaning, always wipe the surface dry with a soft cloth.

DON’Ts

Avoid Harsh Chemicals: No alcohol-based sprays, bleach, or abrasive cleaners.
Don’t Use Wax or Oil Polishes: They can create buildup and cloud the PU finish.
Don’t Place Hot Items Directly: Always use mats or trivets for hot dishes and mugs.
Avoid Prolonged Sunlight Exposure: May lead to gradual fading or discoloration.

Wood-Specific Care Tips:

Teak

Naturally oily and durable.
For outdoor use: Consider applying a sealer every 6–12 months.

Steam Beech

Smooth, light-toned hardwood.
Avoid excessive moisture; may expand/shrink with changes in humidity.
